Great Scots of old wielded with power the Lowlander sword on the Gaelic battlefield. In the 16th century these were known as the "Slaughter Swords" and were the choice weapon of Scottish mercenaries. Today . the almost 6 foot long Lowlander (SH2065) closely replicates a surviving museum piece. This is definitely the largest sword ever made for sale by CAS/Hanwei. However . this piece does not lack in beauty or balance. Attesting to the close replication of the sword are the typically Scottish quatrefoils in the ring guards. A wall mount is provided for proud display of this magnificent sword.
